Sincere THANK YOU to all involved with the 2017 Pro Championship!!!

[Jerry Moll]

The plan was for Jarvis Umphers to take care of the 2017 PKC Blue Ribbon Pro Championship this past weekend. Unfortunately, Mr Jarvis had to be admitted to the hospital, so we quickly made arrangements for me to attend. The club was well prepared and had everything in order, but due to the last minute confusion, we were short on full-time judges. The club quickly stepped up and provided some extra judges who had only planned on only guiding. A few members who traveled to the hunt, intending to be spectators, also agreed to help out judge. The end result was that the Ripley, Tennessee Club and volunteer PKC Members pulled together and put on an awesome event, despite the challenges.

Thank you to all the judges and panel members who helped out over the weekend; Brad Durham, Brandon Glass, Chad Smith, Darren Carty, Jason Crum, Jeff Wilson, Jeremy Qualls, Joey Goforth, John Harris, Josh Sparks, Rodney Hamby, Shawn Todd and Steve Yant.

Also, thank you to the guides who put the casts in some great Western Tennessee Coonhunting; Chad Smith, Coy Sullivan, James Baskin, Jeremy Qualls, Joe Lewis, Joey Goforth, Rodney Hemby, Shawn Todd and Steve Yant.

The Ripley, Tennessee Club has a great facility and they kept everyone warm and well fed all weekend.

Congratulations to the 2017 PKC Blue Ribbon Pro Championship winners; Flatrock Brake Box ¦ Sasser/Smith ¦ Bobby Burden and second place Wipeout Fuzz ¦ Cobb/Sullivan ¦ Mark Sullivan. Also to Semi-Finalists; Slow Talking Paint ¦ Shabel/Elliott ¦ Billy Bell, Wipeout Soldier Boy ¦ Shabel/Elliott ¦ Tracey Taylor and Abbeys Last Trip ¦ Eric Henry ¦ Travis Carlock.
