State Jackets

Postby Matt Wilday » Tue Jan 29, 2019 1:02 pm

I will be taking orders for PKC State jackets until Friday, February 15th 2019, so they will be here for the State Hunt. Take a look at the Dan's catalog so you know what model jacket you would like to order. (http://danshuntinggear.com) In the past most have gone with the 401 with or without a hood. When you have decided give me a call or text @ 518-231-0772. The price for a 401 is usually between $90-$100 depending on size.

Thanks

The 2019 New York State Championship is this weekend in Fort Plain, NY, starting Friday 04/26/18, deadline is 8 pm. We will hunt 16 dogs early Friday night and the final 4 dogs will be hunted late Friday night to determine who the 2019 New York State Champion will be. There will also be $50 open events both Friday and Saturday nights with a deadline of 8 pm, with Saturday having a $500 added purse. Although there will not be any pup derby's, if at least 4 Super Stake pups want to hunt together we can have pup casts on the open $50 hunts. The state meeting is at 6 pm Friday, to discuss the 2020 State Championship (location & date), & anything else you would like to discuss. I have the 2018 Top 16 & 24 hats, as well as jackets that were ordered and will be handing them out Friday & Saturday.

1st Place $698 + state money
2nd place $349 + state money
3rd place $219 + state money
4th place $140 + state money

The 2019 New York State Youth Championship will be held Saturday night with a deadline of 8 pm, $30 hunt with a $100 added purse. Attention to all of you adult hunters, find a youth and bring him or her along to try this great sport and maybe become the next New York State Youth Champion. (I will pay for all youth memberships this weekend if they have never been a PKC member)

I would like to Congratulate the following Handlers and Hounds for their achievements in 2018:

CH W & M White Trash Hillary, State Money Leader for 2018 with $2167.13, Watkins or Morrell, owner.
Blake Baciuska, New York State Youth Money Leader for 2018 with $977.00
2018 New York State Champion, SCH Bone Collector's Lacey, James Bassage owner/handler
